LS4FUTURE Researchers Visit Bac3Gel at Taguspark
5/03/2026
Researchers from LS4FUTURE visited the biotechnology startup Bac3Gel at Taguspark, in a meeting designed to foster dialogue and potential collaborations between academia and industry.
The visit began with a warm welcome from the Bac3Gel team, who introduced the company’s vision, technological platform, and current activities. Participants then toured the laboratory facilities, where they were able to observe first-hand the workflow used to generate Bac3Gel’s in vitro devices, gaining insight into the experimental pipeline and the technological capabilities behind their development.
During the session, the team also presented several ongoing research and development projects carried out in collaboration with academic partners, highlighting opportunities where scientific expertise from LS4FUTURE research groups could contribute.
In addition, researchers learned more about the data analysis tools and resources that Bac3Gel provides to support experimental design and interpretation, which can be particularly valuable for academic researchers working with complex biological models.
The visit concluded with a Q&A moment, where participants exchanged ideas, asked questions, and explored potential areas of synergy, reflecting a strong interest from both sides in strengthening connections between academic research and biotech innovation.
Initiatives such as this visit aim to promote knowledge exchange and facilitate the emergence of new collaborative research opportunities between LS4FUTURE scientists and innovative biotech companies.
LS4FUTURE thanks the Bac3Gel team for their hospitality and for sharing their expertise and vision with our research community.
