Following the success of the recent LS4FUTURE site visit to Bac3Gel, registrations are now open for a new one-day visit to BIAL, taking place on May 7th, 2026 (08:30–19:00).

This initiative offers LS4FUTURE researchers the opportunity to gain first-hand insight into the functioning of a leading pharmaceutical company, with a comprehensive programme including visits to Industrial production and Research & Development (R&D) areas.

The visit is particularly relevant for early career researchers interested in exploring career opportunities beyond academia, providing exposure to the diversity of roles and professional paths within the pharmaceutical sector. At the same time, it offers a valuable perspective on how scientific research is translated into industrial and clinical applications, and how current academic work may align with ongoing activities in industry.

This experience also creates space to reflect on potential areas of synergy between LS4FUTURE research and BIAL’s scientific and technological priorities.
